The Queen Street Mall is the main shopping area of Brisbane located in the middle of the CBD. There are also weekend markets in Fortitude Valley and a variety of large shopping centres in outlying suburbs all accessible by bus or train.

20 minutes south and easily accessible via public transport (several busses run from the Woolloongabba bus terminal) is Garden City. To the west is the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre which is next to the Indooroopilly train station.
